A few updates:

Practices:

Tuesdays at Heebner with Bob’s team 5:45-7:15

Sundays at RedTail, just us 6:00-7:30

Please check your email this Sunday afternoon to see if this Sunday’s practice is still on – they have already closed the fields for Saturday.

These practices may change after tryouts, don’t use them to set your summer schedule yet.

Tryouts:

Friday May 13 from 6:30 to 8:00 PM.
Tuesday May 17 from 6:30 to 8:00 PM.
Friday May 20 from 6:30 to 8:00 PM.

All at Heebner Park, you need to make 2 of the 3, let me know if you have any issues.

Marc Small Tournament:

The 3v3 tournament run by Methacton will be Sat. June 11th.
This gets it past the end of Lacrosse season and some Softball Leagues.
Please try to make this, the girls have had a lot of fun at it and it raises money for a scholarship for a Methacton Soccer player.

Phila. Union Game:

The Union (Pro Men’s Soccer) have a Youth Soccer day for their game on Sat 4/30
Tickets are at a $10 discount if enough from the club go plus no $5 processing charge.

Please let me know by 4/10 if you are interested and how many tickets and what level.
I cannot make it (spending Saturdays visiting colleges with my son), but if someone wants to organize the team going, let me know.

Phila. Independence Games:

(Pro Women’s Soccer)
The club is looking to buy group rate tickets ($12 each).
The club needs to buy 100 and they are good for any one of the Independence’s games.
This year, they are playing at Widener University.
Please let me know if you are interested.
If we have enough interest, we can organize a day for the team to go and the girls will get to go on the field during player introductions.

Did someone get the Lafayette Lending Group to sponsor Methacton soccer last year?
If yes, thank you (I just found out)
and let me know, I have a plaque for them that I need to get to them.

I will send out reminders as we get closer to tryouts, but for now, try to get to as many practices as you can.

We will have practice Tuesday 6:00-7:30 at the Variety Club – please make every effort to make this practice.

If we win Saturday, the Finals will be Sunday (11/14) at 4:00pm in West Chester.

(We lost to LMYA at Heebner 1-0 this year.)

All the games that they played have been removed from the standings and they have added a game for each team to keep us all at 8 games.

We will now have a game on:

Sunday 11/7 at Swarthmore.
